dear Sandy, if you are somewhere near Itaewon , which is in the heart of the Seoul, u can simply take a cab & head for DOOTA, its a 24hr shopping mall.you can get fantastic stuff over there...& please grab those face mask.its cheap & good.
if someone can direct you to the underground tunnel , it is much2 cheaper there, compare to Singapore each mask cost around 30 to 40 cents each..its a great bargain indeed, i really regretted not buying a lot..but I will be back. Dont worry its very safe there..& the shop keepers & sales people are so friendly...
if the taxi driver dont speak english just tell him Ajuhssi..Doota kago shipoyo....Theres another shopping market nearby, if Im not mistaken its call Tongdaemun Shijang..this place is also fantastic its like our pasar malam..its a lane full of goodies & u can bargain there...like mad...you will come back happy & satisfied...so have a good trip..& enjoy your shopping...

It depends on where you go but normally it's cold see this yearly temperatures http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_of_Seoul and yes it snows too in Seoul.
I don't think that I know any 24 hours shopping malls but I'm sure you can Google them.
Normally decent shopping malls close at night.
However there are many great convenient stores everywhere in Korea and they usually open 24hours.
